What conditions do you address?

Dr Daniel Bevan (Chiropractor) helps patients with a wide range of concerns, such as pain or discomfort in the back, neck, or joints, headaches, and injuries from sports. Our care is also helpful for managing chronic conditions such as sciatica, scoliosis, and arthritis. We cater to all age groups, offering care for both children and seniors, as well as gentle techniques for pregnant women. Our goal is to address the root cause of the issue, helping you return to living without pain and maintain long-term health.

What techniques do you use?

We offer a variety of approaches to suit each person's unique needs. These include Diversified, Gonstead, and Drop Table techniques for spinal adjustments. We also use the Activator tool for precise, low-force adjustments, which are particularly suited for children and older adults. To ease muscle tension or address soft tissue concerns, we utilise a Vibracussor, which uses vibration therapy to release tension and improve mobility.

Do I need a referral to book an appointment?

No referral is needed to schedule a visit at Forest Lakes Chiropractic. Whether you're dealing with a specific issue or seeking ongoing care to maintain wellness, you can book directly with us. Our team is happy to assess your condition and guide you towards the appropriate care.

How many visits will I require?

The number of sessions depends on the condition being addressed and how your body responds to care. After your initial consultation, Dr Daniel will craft a customised care plan based on your needs and goals. Some patients experience relief after just a few sessions, while others may require ongoing care for chronic conditions or long-term wellness maintenance.

What happens during the first visit?

Your first appointment begins with a detailed consultation to understand your health history and current concerns. This is followed by a physical examination, which may include checking your posture, testing your range of motion, and other diagnostic evaluations. After identifying the issue, Dr Daniel will recommend a plan tailored specifically for you. You may also receive your first adjustment during this visit, depending on your needs.

Is chiropractic care right for me?

Chiropractic care is a gentle, hands-on approach to addressing various musculoskeletal issues. Our noninvasive techniques are tailored to each person. The methods we use, including the Activator tool and Vibracussor, are especially suitable for seniors, children, and pregnant women, ensuring conservative, targeted care for all ages.

OFFERING EFFECTIVE SOLUTIONS, NOT QUICK FIXES

Many people come to the practice with chronic pain that's been around for some time, even years. Just as it took some time to get to the stage it's at now, it might take some time to correct the problem. The effects of an adjustment are cumulative, and so are the results. Most patients start to feel some relief after a few visits, but total healing could take some time. Consistency is key to achieving the best outcome.
